“Peach Dreams photographed my wedding in Cuba!. She travelled over the Big pond to the Caribbean for the first time, to be there for our special day!. The photos were on point, and not a minute was spared! One minute we would be stood still speechless, and the next Sarah would be burying her camera into the sand ready for the best photo that could have been taken. After the event, we would be amongst palm trees in the mangroves, where Sarah would still be clicking away at her camera trying to capture every moment of our wedding! She truly made our wedding with her spectacular photos! And memories we could never recreate without her! All my family are over the moon with the photos and we are getting large prints!. Again….. thank you so much for being there and taking part in our special day that we will never forget thanks to yourself!”

Cuba truly has an otherworldly charm to it. A country that takes you back in time yet fills your soul with so much beauty and romance. We were lucky enough to visit the mainland and experience the cultural side to the country. June’s wedding bought me immense pleasure of not only watching my younger brother get married, but getting to photograph his very special day too.

Being by the beach, the day didn’t start out like your typical wedding. Well, maybe for the bride, but the groom and his groomsmen were splashing around in the sea up until an hour before the ceremony. To be fair, everything was calm and running on time as the men prepared themselves, it could have had something to do with the  Cuba Libres that were flowing ?

Over in the honeymoon suite, the bride had spent most of the day preparing herself for the afternoons celebrations. All the ladies gathered and the atmosphere was buzzing. By the time Beatriz slipped into her dress, hair curled and make up flawless, she looked stunning.

In between capturing the bride and grooms preparations, I managed to sneak down to the beach to check on the ceremony area and WOW, it was gorgeous! The pergola was decorated beautifully in white and pink, and complimented further by the picturesque white sandy beach and turquoise ocean in the background. The setting was an absolute dream!

The time had come and Richard waited patiently for his bride. Beautiful music filled the air as Beatriz emerged and walked down to the sea front where all their family and friends were gathered. A few laughs and tears were exchanged along with the vowels.

The reception was held in a private restaurant in the hotel grounds. The happy couple and all of the guests were up on their feet in between courses making the most of the dance floor. A trio of musicians came to seranade the newly weds and the brides mother even had a rendition of her own. Music, dancing, joy and laughter filled the evening, everyone had a ball! I enjoyed getting to see some salsa moves thrown into the mix, and of course the twerking.

It was such a dream to photograph a wedding in Cuba especially for Richard and Beatriz, it truly was a romantic place to get married. I loved every single minute with you guys! The day was filled with so much love and joy. Be happy forever. xx
