Patricia and Stuart got married at the Blaby Baptist Church, Leicester, on Easter Saturday. It was an awesome wedding, with their closest family and friends and so many personalised touches. The brides makeup was applied by her best friend, the stunning bouquet was created by her daughter and the children received hand knitted Easter gifts made by the bride. One of the most special thing about this wedding was how much the couple were loved. Guests literally travelled from the other sides of the world including Australia, Canada, Cuba and the brides daughter and granddaughter all the way from Egypt to celebrate this special occasion.
The couple met through internet dating and have been together for 10 years. They are so much fun. When they got in touch we just talked about travelling the whole time! This couple are a pair of jet setters!
Stuart got ready at home with his son/best man, and there was such a nervous but excited vibe in the air. He wore a grey suit with a mint green tie, and looked really dapper. Patricia gifted her groom with the most awesome pocket watch which he wore with pride.
Patricia got ready at the West View Hotel with her bridesmaids. They were all so calm during the preparations. She wore the most perfect dress with embellished detailing, and looked incredible. Patricia’s son came to collect the excited girls to take them to the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at their local church in Blaby, Leicester where the area was filled with flowers, which was so perfect, because it was a glorious sunny day. The ceremony began with Patricia’s son walking her down the aisle where she met her one true love. Beautiful vows were shared along with some laughs and finished with them walking down the aisle and being showered with colourful confetti. It was a moving ceremony, full of nervous giggles and excited hand squeezes.
After the ceremony, tea and coffee were served, the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. We then went out to the grassy area to take a few group shots. The reception venue was a short walk away so we stopped to take couple portraits along the way.
Patricia and Stuart chose to have their reception at The Bakers Arms where the atmosphere was so cosy and relaxed. The Bakers Arms is a quirky pub in the heart of the village, with such a lovely vibe.
Drinks were flowing and it was soon time for everyone be called in for the wedding breakfast.
The couple says that if you’re planning your wedding, the biggest piece of advice they could give you is to just relax and enjoy your planning. All your ideas come together.
I loved this wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for an intimate wedding photographer, get in touch. Here are the photos!
